In the foyer of Blechexpo, STEINEL is making a special statement this year: to mark its centenary, the family-owned company is presenting a special exhibition that welcomes visitors as soon as they enter the trade fair.

The presentation combines historical elements with modern insights, bringing the long-standing tradition of precision and quality to life. A a live exhibition model of a multi-spindle drilling machine from the 1970s and multimedia content highlight anecdotes from the company’s history, creating a fascinating arc from its beginnings to the present day.

STEINEL looks back on an extraordinary journey: founded in Schwenningen in 1925, the company reached an early milestone in 1927 with the development of its first multi-spindle drilling machine. After the Second World War, the introduction of the standard parts programme proved a decisive step forward. Since 1938, STEINEL has also placed strong emphasis on training its own skilled workers – a success factor that continues to shape the company’s innovative strength to this day.

Through consistent modernisation in the 1960s and a clear commitment to production at two German sites, STEINEL has firmly established its position as a leading supplier of standard parts and customised solutions. Today, the company is the only manufacturer of nitrogen cylinders still producing in Germany, staying true to its guiding principle: ensuring the highest quality, reliability, and independence for the future.

The special presentation in the foyer invites visitors to experience this story and discover more. In Hall 6, Stand 6308, visitors can expect the usual comprehensive insight into the world of punching and bending technology. Alongside innovative solutions for thread forming and powerful nitrogen systems, STEINEL will also be showcasing its precise guide units, customer-specific guide units, and tailor-made tool technology.
