B3 Control: The new standard for high-performance precision stamping machines

BRUDERER’s B3 control system has been completely redesigned, drawing on experience from over 5,000 installed B and B2 systems. It is intuitive to use and easy to learn, reducing the need for operator training. Its tile-style user interface can be individually configured and role-based access rights increase security. The 21-inch touchscreen allows direct access to all functions of the automatic stamping press and connected peripherals – including those from third-party suppliers.
Thanks to its modular design, the B3 control is simple to operate and yet scalable, which means that it can be set up for simple stamping processes as well as more complex operations.
Compared to the previous version, the installation and setup of the stamping tools have been made more flexible and process control has been expanded. For the first time, the setup and monitoring of tools, sliders and indexing stations can be automatically taught in at the touch of a button using an intelligent parameterisation system, which allows easier monitoring of stamping presses.
Future-proof reliability
The main window on the screen is designed to control the stamping tool, press force and position. Additional envelope monitoring displays changes in individual modules in real time, enabling faults to be detected more quickly. Using the BRUDERER BSP lamination stacking control system, the integrated strip measurement helps enhance process reliability.
OPC-UA interfaces enable continuous connectivity with machines, production control systems and IIoT applications. The B3 control system will be available on new BSTA stamping presses from 2026. Existing BRUDERER machines can be retrofitted from mid-2026.
