Currently, plastic waste is very much under discussion in terms of environmental policy.
The basis of all discussions is the plastic waste in our oceans. Even though the stretch films with which technical products are wrapped for transport are rarely found in the sea, the question rightly arises:
How can plastic waste be reduced?
However, it is equally important to consider how the eco-balance compares to alternative packaging materials and whether the alternatives are really more environmentally friendly.

The conclusion of this study is that the most sensible way is to recycle polyethylene (PE) films. Used PE films are recyclable and are valued again as raw material. From this, new PE stretch films can be produced. This creates a cycle to ensure ecological sustainability.
