SUSTAINABILITY AT BAUBLIES
At Baublies, sustainability is not a trend, but rather a practice that has been in place since the company was founded almost 60 years ago.
Early on, we committed ourselves to chipless manufacturing—a technology that is fundamentally environmentally friendly. Unlike machining processes, this technology produces neither grinding dust nor grinding sludge. That is why our technology can rightly be described as “green technology,” combining maximum precision with a clear ecological advantage.
Our infrastructure is also consistently sustainable: in 2020, we completed our new administration and production building as a KfW 55 energy-efficient building. A powerful photovoltaic system covers a large part of our energy requirements, especially in the summer months. Modern, consumption-optimized machinery and energy-efficient lighting and ventilation technology further reduce energy consumption significantly. Production waste is systematically collected and recycled.
