Only a few days left: Blechexpo/Schweisstec 2019 in new size

The industry highlight Blechexpo / Schweisstec is just around the corner: from November 5 to 8, 2019, the 14th Blechexpo and the 7th Schweisstec in Stuttgart will be all about processing sheet metal, tubes and profiles. The trade show double will break some records this year: Around 1,500 exhibitors will come to Stuttgart, there was a 15 percent increase in the amount of stand space sold, and the internationality of exhibitors has also risen.

The trade fair duo Blechexpo / Schweisstec with a comprehensive range of products and services covering all aspects of thermal and mechanical processing of sheet metal, tubes and profiles as well as welding, joining and connection technology attracts experts from all over the world to Stuttgart, because this is where the two complementary industry events prove their outstanding and unique process competence as a global platform.

Sheet metal working is a central topic in manufacturing, especially in the mechanical and plant engineering, steel construction, light metal construction, automotive industry and electrical engineering sectors. Trade visitors will receive solutions and systems for all their individual manufacturing requirements. Pre- and final machining, assembly completion and the surface finish of sensitive components are also represented, as are handling and quality assurance. Precision cutting, punching and forming of steel, aluminum and non-ferrous metal sheets are also represented at Blechexpo / Schweisstec. Last but not least, automation and digitalization have also reached the fields of sheet metal working and joining technology and will be addressed by the exhibitors.

More exhibitors, more space, more internationality: The increase in space compared to 2017 corresponds to around one and a quarter more exhibition halls. In terms of bookings and reservations from abroad, there is even a doubling compared to 2017. The reason for the boom is the strictly practice-oriented, proven concept of the trade show double.

For knowledge transfer, stahlnews.de GmbH & Co. KG is organizing the 4th Stahlnews Experts’ Meeting together with the trade fair organizer on the evening of the first day of the trade fair on November 5, 2019, starting at 6:15 pm. The motto is “The steel industry in times of globalization and Industry 4.0”. Internationally recognized industry insiders will speak. Also on the following day of the fair, other representatives of renowned companies will give short presentations at the Blechexpo Forum. The ZVEI’s Schweisstec Day will take place on November 7, 2019.
