The practically oriented trade fair duo consisting of SCHWEISSTEC and BLECHexpo takes place once every two years at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre. Held concurrent to BLECHexpo, the upcoming SCHWEISSTEC trade fair was able to establish itself firmly within the trade fair arena right off the bat.
SCHWEISSTEC & BLECHexpo – an Ideal Duo
With a focus on issues from the field of “joining technology”, the 4th SCHWEISSTEC will serve as a (techno) logical supplement to the 11th BLECHexpo by addressing and presenting all relevant mechanical and thermal joining and fastening processes, as well as thermal cutting and welding methods, in an explicit and comprehensive fashion at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre from the 5th through the 8th of November, 2013.
These include conventional cutting and welding processes, as well as innovative laser processing and joining techniques – in the form of technologies, devices, machinery, robotics, tools, materials and production equipment. The thus complete representation of detail and system solutions for the process sequences associated with the fabrication of parts made from sheet metal, profile and pipe will offer practical, time-saving synergy effects to the expert visitors.
Successful SCHWEISSTEC in 2011 – Optimistic Outlook for the Future
With a total of 1030 exhibitors from 31 countries (of whom 105 participated at SCHWEISSTEC) and 753,000 square feet of overall exhibition floor space, complementary trade fairs BLECHexpo and SCHWEISStec received high scores in all categories in 2011. Roughly 26,000 expert visitors from 89 countries gathered information regarding current offerings and the latest developments. Accordingly, the exhibitors reported positive results and consider SCHWEISSTEC a forward-looking platform for the industry in southern Germany, which makes a highly convincing impression thanks to its consistent concept and very good visitor quality.
