Schweisstec – International Trade Fair for Joining Technology
The fact that sheet metal processing not only involves cutting and stamping, edging and forming, but rather joining and bonding as well, is illustrated by the new technology, information, communication and procurement platform, namely SCHWEISSTEC, which will be promoted for the first time in 2007 concurrent to BLECHEXPO. Expert visitors will thus be provided with the unique opportunity of gathering information concerning the entire process sequence for the production of sheet metal components and assemblies at a single location. Comprehensive representation of all work operations makes it possible for users to optimise their processes in a detailed fashion, or to implement an entire process sequence based upon up-to-date, new solutions. SCHWEISSTEC will present conventional welding and cutting techniques, as well as innovative laser processing and joining technologies, thus coming full circle in the field of sheet metal processing with traditional and modern sheet metal materials.
